This test was done to experiment a new pipeline. The principle is to use a trimSheet, added to that a mask system added to the heightMap of the trimSheet, in order to add 3 materials (R,G,B channel, and the Alpha if needed). I also added a worldSpace gradient system to establish the colorimetry of the model.
The advantages of using a trimSheet are thus combined with the advantages of a bake (without highPoly in this case). For similar assets, the same textures can be used with different masks.

In this scene I only used 2 materials and 110k poly. The house is done with this trimSheet system, the floor is done with another heightBlend shader which I will probably show another day.

For the graphic style I was inspired by Wolcen: Lord of Mayhem, and other topDown productions.

The modeling was done on Blender. The trimSheet was done on photoshop with textures from the internet. The mask bake was done on Substance Painter.
